Kettlebell Swing Tutorial

The kettlebell swing is a great power exercise for building very strong powerful glutes, and and a strong posterior chain.

This exercise starts by picking up the kettlebell by the handle, and having a stance just outside of shoulder width. Brace your abdominals as you swing the kettlebell.

When you initiate the swing, think of your arms as hooks. The swing itself is caused by “popping your hips.”

Make sure you extend and flex your glutes at the top of each swing. Keep your back straight and just use your hips as a hinge to swing on each repetition, bracing your core throughout the swing.
